Prior authorization requirements continue to impact patient access to medically necessary care, and disproportionately affect cancer patients who need timely treatment.

The Improving Seniors’ Timely Access to Care Act (S. 4532/H.R. 8702) aims to streamline and establish an electronic prior authorization system within the Medicare Advantage program, protecting patients from unnecessary delays.

Congress has a limited number of legislative days left to tackle priority issues in cancer care before the end of the 118th congressional session. Please join us in urging your lawmakers to support the Improving Seniors' Timely Access to Care Act and address the burdens of prior authorization and its impact on patients.
