Presentation will review and discuss current drug development status in Hematology/Oncology focusing on tumor pathophysiology, target discovery, drug resistance and biomarker guided trial designs. Please let me know if this is in line with OSMO.

Only days prior to the mid-term elections, this session will discuss the issues of importance to oncology practices and preview the implications of the electoral landscape on healthcare policy. We will take a closer look at the congressional actions on drug pricing reforms, insurance coverage changes, Medicare payment policies and the pending Enhanced Oncology Model (EOM).

Practicing Oncology in todays in the face of decreasing reimbursement is more challenging than ever! E&M documentation and coding rules continue to change with more on the way for 2023. This presentation is designed to help you to navigate these changes and maximize your revenue legitimately!

 

Objectives: After this workshop the attendee should be able to:

1. Know the documentation requirement differences between office and inpatient visits.

2. Quickly and efficiently select the correct code for every visit.

3. Know how and when to bill a visit based on time.

4. When to bill a visit on a treatment day.

5. Know the differences between incident-to and split/shared visits.

6. Know the additional services available to bill for this year and next.
